Great spot, funny hosts, excellent Cullen skink and Haggis neeps and tatties
A lovely little campsite on the NC500 route. Recently renevated with around a dozen gravelled camper/caravan pitches each with water and electric hook-up, brand new timber glamping pods and a moderate grassed area for tents. Toilet/shower facilities were reasonable quality. Pub food was outstanding quality with good beer and extremely friendly staff. Certainly the first choice stop-off along this stretch of the route.
In the process of a revamp with New pitches going in for motorhome. Hope they still leave space for us tents. Basic but fine at 12 a night. Pub food not to bad eather.
Lovely meal, owners very nice. Good choice on menu and they always have a specials board. Dog friendly as well so handy if you are travelling with your furry friend! Located in a lovely part of the county. Will be back very soon.
Lovely little site sitting on the main road. The road is not busy so not a problem. Nice facilities that are due to be upgraded. New cabins were being finished when we visited - they looked great. 20 minute walk to the beach, which is quite stunning.
