Really nice meal here. What a view to the Orkneys. My husband had haddock and chips which was fresh and perfectly cooked. I had smoked haddock and black pudding risotto which was so tasty. Was getting really busy as we left, testament to the draw of the place.
Friendly, accomodating staff. I took my 8 and 6 year old girls for lunch at pavilion restaurant today. Food was fantastic and staff couldn't have been more attentive
Dont let the modest exterior put you off. Quirky and surprisingly good food from an unexpectedly varied menu. If you want a chic bistro, go somewhere else. If you want good food in an unassuming setting and at a reasonable cost, try the Pavilion.
Got the order wrong but realizing it very quickly. Average food (not the perfect ciabatta but I can't say no to smoked salmon), decent service, works fine as a quick stop for lunch. Quite a good boozy dessert (ordered Kenny's Grandmother)
