Good decor and clean. Staff very approachable and helpful. I accepted the recommendation of peri-peri burger which went down well. Reason for not 5-star is purely down to standard frozen chips accompanying with cost of 12.50. Salad and dressing, burger, and purple slaw all good but really need quality, preferably hand-cut chips at that price.

As others have said, the menu looks a bit pricey, but you can eat here for a reasonable price. My wife had two starters; Cesar salad and soup of the day, while I had the macaroni cheese which came with chips, salad and slaw. We had a couple of glasses of red wine and a pudding to share for just over 35. The food was good and the staff were friendly.
Exceptional food, I had the chicken liver parfait and for main the haggis and venison burger. Very filling and very tasty.Best haggis I've had for a long time, juicy and well seasoned!Highly recommended, good selection of drinks and the food is really good.Only comment to the owners is to introduce more signs or an outdoor menu, make the place more enticing. Walking in we felt very confused of which way to go and how everything worked.Introducing table side service wouldn't go a miss either.
